South Africa Visit Visa Requirements in Dubai

South Africa and UAE initiated their bilateral relations in 1992 when South African Department of Trade and Industry and South African Foreign Trade Organisation exhibited South African products in Dubai. Since then the relations between Dubai and South Africa are getting stronger and stronger. Many Arabs and Dubai residents arrange their tour of South Africa to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the African country. Before these tourists travel to South Africa, they apply for tourist visit visa from Dubai where Consulate General of South Africa is an authorised body to issue visa. There are some requirements that every applicant should meet to get the visa. Here is a step by step guide to get South Africa tourist visit visa from Dubai.

    Application Form


    First of all, you should application form in your hand. You can download application form official website of the consulate General of South in Dubai. Alternatively you can download application from the link given below.

    Recruitments


    Before you fulfil the application form, you should need the requirements that have been set by the Consulate General of South Africa in Dubai.


    (a)    Completed and duly signed application form
    (b)   Passport valid for no less than 30 days after the expiry of intended visit to South Africa. There should be two blank visa pages in the passport. You also need to submit one copy of the passport along with original.
    (c)    Two passport size photographs that should be in light colour background. The photographs should be fresh.
    (d)   You may also need to submit vaccination certificate if required.
    (e)   Proof of the financial condition that you can bear the expenses of your intended visit. You need to submit bank statements, salary advises, and cash available.
    (f)     Return air ticket, only if you are travelling through air.
    (g)    You may also submit the proof of your provisional hotel booking or travel itinerary.


    If you are not UAE passport holder, you may need to submit further documents as required by the Consular General of South Africa.

    Visa fee


    Visa fee is Dhs 250.00 and can only be paid only in cash. However, the visa fee is subject to change in April of every year. Any fee paid is non refundable. Consulate General of South Africa is located on the third floor of New Sharaf Building on Khalid bin Waled Road.

    Submission of Application


    Once you have completed your application, you need to submit it with Consulate General of South Africa in Dubai. You can only be submitted in person. You need to visit the visa Consular section in Consulate General of South Africa to submit your application. Applications can only be submitted between 08:30 am to 11:30 am from Sunday to Thursday.

    Processing Time


    Once you have submitted your application, you need to wait for at least four working days. You cannot ask the Consulate General to process urgent applications, because it does not have any system to entertain this request. Therefore you should make your schedule accordingly.

    Receive Visa


    Now it is a time to receive you visa. You can collect you visa visiting the Consulate General. Remember you can collect your visa only from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm in working days that are Sunday to Thursday.
