Thank You Email after Interview

Most of the candidates who seek a job do not care much about following up with their prospective employers after their job interviews. Even if you are sure that you are going to get a job as the interviewer has told you so, writing a thank you email is worth the effort and time as it lets your prospective employer know that you care for the company and your job. Here is how you can write a short, yet powerful thank email after a job interview.

Start the opening paragraph of the email thanking your prospective employer/interviewer. State how happy you are to get this opportunity and you liked having a conversation with the interviewer. Do not go into details in the first paragraph, as email letters have to be to the point and precise.

In the second paragraph, talk a bit about your ambitions and plans. You can share your experience with the past employers a little as well. But do not go overboard on the past employments; share your views about how confident you are to join the new company.

In the following paragraph, you can focus on the prospective employer, discussing briefly the challenges and tasks you hope to carry out.

Conclude the email by saying thanks to the interviewer once again, stating you are very happy to find a chance for an interview and look forward to hearing from them soon.
