History:
In 1806, merchant John Scott and his daughter Jane opened the doors of Adelphi Theatre for entertainment. John’s multitalented daughter was not only the manger of the venue, but she was also a performer and a play writer. The building has been rebuilt four times since its inauguration and it was also renamed four times before being named the Royal Adelphi in 1930. This building, with 1500 seats, is fulfilling its duties as the best entertaining venue in London. -

How to Reach at Adelphi Theatre
By Tube:
Covent Garden transit station is 0.3 miles away from the theater; you will have to walk for 6 minutes to cover the required distance between the two locations. Take an exit from the station and head northeast on Long Acre/B402 and then take a right turn, which will take you towards Covent Garden. Take two left turns and then a right turn onto Southampton St. After covering 466 feet, turn right onto Strand/A4 where the destination is located. View Map.
