The Lantern Restaurant in London is a Cypriot Taverna which was originally started in 1946 as a Greek restaurant. Today the menu is influenced by many Eastern Mediterranean cuisines including foods from Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Lebanon, Armenia and Persia. The Lantern specilizes in meze, which allows customers to taste and appreciate several different dishes at the same time. The 58 different dishes in the menu are also accompanied by some impressive wines and drinks. Even though Greek and Cypriot wines are the center piece of the drinks menu, local beers and other vintages are available. Over all the Lantern Taverna tries its best to keep its traditional feel alive and successfully delivers a great night out for food lovers.

    Monday to Friday lunch is served from 12:00 to 4:30, and Saturday to Sunday, the dinner is served from 5:30 to 11:00. Dinner from Monday to Friday is served from 5:00 to 11:30 and on Saturdays, it is served from 5:00 to 11:00.
