The Royal Academy of Arts is a unique privately funded and independent institution of art; which gives this academy a significant place in the list of arts institutions in London. The major reason behind its success is its management, led by renowned architects and artists. The main aim of these well-known artists and architects was to endorse the creation, appreciation and enjoyment of visual arts by education, debate and exhibitions. This academy was founded in  1768 by George III and at that time, it had about 34 co-founders who were all prominent architects and artists of their time. It was the efforts of the co-founders that made this academy such a huge success today. As today people come to receive arts education from this institution not only from all over United Kingdom, but also from different countries of the world.
