Instructions

    Good Trim

When your hair are damaged it is better to remove the dead, thin and split ends through a proper trim rather than waiting for them to fall naturally. Get a good trim to start off with so that your hair exposure increases.

  • 2

    Stop Using Direct Heat Appliers

Let your hair dry out naturally. Do not use flat ironing and blow drying as the heat makes the hair weak and accelerates the breakage.

  • 3

    Trim Your Hair Regularly

Regular trimming prevents hair breakage from going out of control and also ensures that your natural hair have no brittle and hard ends. Trim your hair at least once a month; although we recommend dust trimming (trim the ends for not more than a quarter of an inch) twice a month.

    Moisturize Your Hair before Shampooing

To reduce breakage, another important technique is to moisturize your hair before you shampoo them. This can be done with any natural oil like olive or sunflower oil, or you can use an inexpensive conditioner that can easily rinse off. This pre conditioning will help your hair detangle before you shampoo them thus minimizing the breakage.

Don’t Shampoo the Entire Head At Once

Always shampoo your hair in sections. It will no doubt take some time, but will allow for minimum breakage and proper condition of each part of the scalp. This segmented approach is also recommended for pre conditioning. While shampooing a section of the head, make sure to disentangle your hair with a wide toothed comb.
