Travel Authorization Letter
Children travelling without both birth parents should have a travel authorization letter from either of his parents stating clearly permission for the child with some other adult. This is only to ensure your child’s safety and to avoid parental kidnapping or other malpractices on minors. Such and authorization letter should to be addressed to the higher authority in travel department of the airline through which your child would travel. Clearly give your consent for the child to travel with the adult on trip.
The travel authorization letter contains name and date of birth of your child, his passport details, flight details as well as the contact details of the person who will be the guardian of your son/ daughter on the trip.
