Kids are usually more receptive to visual signs and signals. As they are in the process of growing up, they can make much more sense out of things that appear in front of them. For example, you can give kids a picture with a lot of information and tell them to focus on just on object in there. In addition, you can teach children to pay attention to words which can be confusing to see at first, but can be understood if observed closely. An example in this regard would be two words “was” and “saw” which are different, but can look similar because of the same letters used. -

Helping the kids learn about different patterns can also improve their visual attention skills. You can pick up an Origami pattern which use visual pictures. Tell the children to fold the paper using the details available on them. You can also tell the children to build various things with papers. Picture books can also help the children learn quickly since they can establish a reference point in their minds. Building blocks can also serve as a great means by which children’s visual skills can be enhanced.
