Watford Tube Station London
Watford station is situated in the Western side of London near Cassiobury Park and runs through Metropolitan Line in travel card zone 7 of the London Underground. Officially, the station was opened in 1925 to extend the Moor Park line and remained there with the same line for more than 70 years but with the introduction of travel card zone system in 2004, it was moved to Zone B. Later on, it was moved from Zone B to Zone A and then on 2008, it became Travelcard Zone 7. As it lies away from the populated area, it serves only about 1.5 million commuters annually and provides only one entrance that is from the Cassiobury Park Avenue. Therefore, the station will be closed down in 2016. However, it has different facilities such as gates, toilets, cash machines, payphone, car park and waiting room.
