Wedding Announcement Email
Wedding is undoubtedly one of the most special events in a person’s life. When a person meets a perfect partner, makes up their mind to get married to that person, proposes and have their proposal accepted, they simply cannot wait to share the great news with their family and friends. Even though phone-call is a quick and convenient way of sharing this great news in my scenarios, there are times when a person has to rely on an email to communicate.
While making a wedding announcement through email, remember to convey the big news in the very first paragraph.
In the next paragraph, share a bit of details of the wedding and your spouse-to-be with the recipient of the email.
In the final paragraph, mention the date on which the wedding is scheduled to take place and request the recipient to ensure that they attend it. Request them to break the news to others as well.

Dear Sister,
I am shaking with excitement and joy as I inform you that Catherine has said yes to my marriage proposal. Her family have given their approval to the wedding as well. I wanted you to be the first one from my family to know about this great news.
I have never talked to you about Catherine in detail before. You do know that she and I used to study in the same college. I hated her at that time because I used to think of her as a snob. However, she recently started working at the same place where I work. I realised how wrong I was about her. She is extremely sweet, caring and definitely not a snob. We have been together since a year now and we both are convinced that we want to spend the rest of our lives together.
