What are Chick Peas
Chickpeas are a legume, also known as ceci beans and garbanzo beans, generally used in cooking in the subcontinent of India and even in Italian foods. In about round shaped and tan color, the commodity falls near to the pulses variety. In fact, in the Indian subcontinent, chickpea pulse, known as Chana Daal, is as commonly used in cooking. Chickpeas have mild sore taste but if used in roasted form, they taste very delicious. They are one of the most healthy food products.

Chickpeas are used in cooking in the sub continent of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. They can be part of many recipes, and also can be cooked as a standalone dish. Generally they are a part of curries.
