White City Tube Station London
Located between Shepherds Bush and East Acton Station, White City tube provides underground services to the White Lane area. Initially, the underground stop was in the territory of Wood Lane Tube station but on November 23, 1947 it was separated from it and was renamed White City. The tube stop is the only station which runs on right-handed lines rather than the conventional left-handed line used by the London Underground system. It travels through travel card zone 2 and serves about 8 million commuters annually. This large number of commuters enter and exit through one passage way which is located on White City road. The station also has other facilities such as ticket halls, gates, toilets, cash machines and waiting rooms.
